Mid-South Christian College is authorized by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission.  MSCC can be found on the U.S. Department of Education website of Accredited Post Secondary Institutions and Programs at http://ope.ed.gov/accreditation/ click on the button “Get Data on accredited institution/campus/site. This takes you to a search page. Enter Mid-South Christian College into the “Name of Institution” field and press “Search.”

 The U. S. Department of Education has recognized Mid-South Christian College as an institution where students are able to apply for Title IV Funds. MSCC has chosen to accept Federal Pell Grants and not to participate in the federal guaranteed loan program. We prefer that students graduate debt free and include a class in the first year to help students learn how to achieve a debt free life.

 Mid-South Christian College has been serving churches in the Mid-South for more than fifty years. During these years congregations associated with the nondenominational fellowship of Christian Churches and Churches of Christ have come to recognize the college as a quality institution providing students with a collegiate level education for Christian ministries.

Though MSCC has not been a member of a regional or national accrediting association until recently, MSCC graduates have been accepted into more than a dozen Graduate Seminaries or University Graduate Schools. They are serving as ministers in local churches, on foreign mission fields, as campus ministers, directors of children’s homes, and as administrators and faculty members of Bible colleges.

 MSCC is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a non-profit organization and exempt from Federal Income Tax.

The college has been approved by the Immigration and Naturalization Branch of the Department of Justice to accept and enroll non-immigrant foreign students.
